Working Girl

So its Friday the 26th of September and I get to join the working world again.
I haven't worked in the workforce since August 29th. How will it be. A new job in a city I haven't lived in for 20 plus years and a job that I have never done before. I guess I will find all of this out as I go to orientation today at 3:30 and how long that will last is a mystery to. I guess the good part is that John is at work so he doesn't have to listen to me stress out about this whole new experience. After today it is 10 weeks of training from 3:30 p.m. until 12 midnight. Sunday thru Thursday. I guess its a good thing that Church is from 11-2. At least then I can sleep in a little bit and go to church then to work. And at least for the 10 weeks I should have Fridays and Saturdays off with John. Because after the 10 weeks I will go to 4 day work weeks and one of them had to be a weekend day so I will work Mon, Tues, Wed, Sat. I will have Fridays and Sundays with John and Thursdays to myself. Which will hopefully work out also. I will work 9:30 am to 8:30 p.m. with and hour for lunch. At least I can go into work a little later since I am not a really good morning person but that leaves John and I little time during the week together. I guess in some respects we are used to that. We will see how this works out. Now just to sell the house and then we can look for something here. We will probably live in the Salt Lake Area since John can ride the shuttle to Dugway for practically nothing. It would cost to much for me to commute up from Dugway. Well it is 230 something so I guess I had better end this and find my way out the door for this new WORK experience. WISH Me LUCK

High levels of stress can lead to you feeling panic or confusion, but usually you cope with day to day pressures, however you are sensitive about what others think of you. Your concern about rejection and ridicule cause you to feel shy and uncomfortable around others. You are easily embarrassed and often feel ashamed. Your fears that others will criticize or make fun of you are exaggerated and unrealistic, but your awkwardness and discomfort may make these fears a self-fulfilling prophecy. People generally perceive you as distant and reserved, and you do not usually reach out to others. You prefer dealing with either people or things rather than ideas. You regard intellectual exercises as a waste of your time. You will help others if they are in need. Back in Utah again

So we arrived safely in Utah on Sunday the 31st about 11 p.m. Utah time. We started unloading the truck on Monday Morning about 8.a.m It was a good thing too because it started raining and hailing about 9 a.m. 2 of my brothers and Johns sister Di and a nephew and his dad and my`dad were are there helping. It didn't take to long. I then went to my parents and took a nap. Most of our stuff is in storage for now. We are safe and I am just trying to find work.

My mom came through her hip surgery with flying colors. I have been playing nursemaid to her and been having fun.

We hope all of our friends in Indy are doing great.

Leaving Indiana For Utah

So there are are some mixed feeling we have had over the summer. We love Indiana and the many friends we have made over the 20 plus years we have lived there. We had some great times at Eagle Creek Park which we are going to really miss a 5 minute drive to peace and solice and the Dogs are going to miss "Deer Hunting". In fact I did really well for the most part my last week until the 3 of us went to the park for the last time and I cried and Cried through the whole park as the dogs looked at me because they couldn't understand why I was so upset.

I will miss all of my Surrogate children in the Primary whom I grew to love so much. I will miss going to the Zoo and the Children's museum with you.

I will miss having my door decorated for special holidays.

We are excited to be closer to family especially since grandparents and parents are getting older and having some health challenges at times.

We are excited for a fresh start in life.

We are so EXCITED for the MOUNTIANS. and to be able to do the outdoor activities that we have really missed.

I am excited to get to watch my young nieces and nephews grow up.

Most of all we are grateful that we have gotten to know so many neat and exciting people and we hope that we can see and hear from you often.
